Safeguarding

Safeguarding is the action the Church takes to promote a safer culture. This means we will promote the welfare of children, young people and adults, work to prevent the abuse from occurring, seek to protect those that are at risk of being abused and respond to those who have been abused. We will take care to identify where a person may present a risk to others, and offer support to them whilst taking steps to mitigate such risks.

If you have a safeguarding concern please contact:

Priest in Charge: Rev. Dr. Robert Kelsey
Tel: 01289 382325

Parish Safeguarding Officer: Mrs Rebecca Simpson
Tel: 07419779138  Email: [email protected]

Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser: Ruth Rogan
Tel: 07825 167016

We seek to align our safeguarding work with 'Promoting a Safer Church' - the Church of England's safeguarding policy statement for children, young people and adults.
